Boston Gallacher started their journey with dance at the Dance School of Schotland in Glasgow, studying there from 2008 until 2013. Afterwards they attended the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in Twickenham, United Kingdom, from 2013 until 2016.

Their professional experience consists of Research and Development for DV8 in 2015, being a guest artist with Rambert Company in 2016, joining NDT 2 in August 2016 and in addition they have been dancing with NDT 1 since August 2019.

Gallacher has won the Piket Art Prize for Dance in 2020.

They joined the company in 2024 for Chroniques.
