Christina Guieb was born in Wellington, New Zealand. In 2017, she graduated from the New Zealand School of Dance. She started her career freelancing between NZ & Australia, working with choreographers and companies such as Ross McCormack/ Muscle Mouth(As It Stands and Artefact), Antony Hamilton/ Chunky Move(Token Armies), New Zealand Dance Company and Good Company Arts (PEPE and Ad Parnassum). Since 2021, she has performed with Damien Jalet on works such as Planet-Wanderer
in collaboration with artist Kohei Nawa and DuEls, also by Erna Ómarsdóttir/ Nagelhus Schia Productions. In 2022, she danced with Eastman in the performances of S3
and Nomad
by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. From 2022 to 2024, Christina has been a dancer for the Opera Ballet Vlaanderen where she performed in works such as Jermaine Spivey's Extant
, Jan Marten's FUTUR PROCHE
and Alain Platel's Ombra. In 2025, Christina recently worked with Peeping Tom, performing in the opera, Dido & Aeneas.
